Ozaukee Talent Fall 2021 Private Lessons
We begin the week of September 27th! If you are an adult, homeschool student, virtual school student, etc. please email firstname.lastname@example.org for slots available during school hours. The slots listed here are primarily for students who are in school all day. Thank you!

Please carefully read the policies below.
When: WEEKS September 27 through December 13 (12 weeks).
Where: Online or in-person
How often: Music lesson slots are sold in half hour increments/week. Some families choose to sign up for more than one half hour slot per week which is fine.
Cost: $330 for the semester per half hour slot. By reserving a slot for $110 per half hour, you are affirming your obligation to complete all fall payments on time. The second payment of $110 will be due on October 15 and the third payment will be due on November 15.
Misses: I do not do makeup lessons unless I miss. You get 2 free misses within the semester that do not need to be made up. These misses have been figured into the overall cost. So if you have a dentist appointment, are sick, have soccer practice, etc...you should still be able to keep your commitment to private music lessons. There are no guarantees for make ups if you miss more than 2. Each of those 2 lessons that you DO NOT MISS would be free. (So if you have perfect attendance, you get two free lessons valued at $66.) If I need to miss a lesson, I will automatically make it up to you. I rarely miss unless there is an appointment, meeting, emergency or family issue that comes up.
WE ALWAYS RUN LESSONS ON TIME
Please know that the schedule is very strict due to the number of students I have. If you are a no-call, no show I will log off if you are more than 7 minutes late.
IF THIS TIME SLOT ENDS UP NOT WORKING FOR YOU
Only if I have an opening, you can switch. Otherwise, if you need to drop for some reason, you can find your own replacement and have them make the payments (kind of like when you sublet an apartment). Please know that you are responsible to fulfill your total financial obligation regardless of whether you attend or not.
I tailor each lesson to the individual. The first lesson is usually for establishing goals and assessing skill level. I will advise on materials as we go along if I haven’t already.
You or your child won’t progress unless practice is done at home. If your child is not wanting to practice at home, please talk to me so that I can offer some suggestions. The speed at which an instrument or artistic skill is learned is largely dependent on practice time.

I find that most conflicts are due to communication misunderstandings, different philosophies, etc…..If there are ever any issues, please talk to me or write directly first.
I occasionally take photos or short videos to share on Ozaukee Talent social media. To protect children's safety, I do not reveal their name, age, school, time of lesson, etc.....Feel free to look at my Instagram account to see the types of things that I post. Please let me know if you disapprove for any reason. (@ozaukeetalent) on Instagram)
Lessons can be online, in-person, or a combination of both. Students displaying any symptoms such as a fever, cough, runny nose, conjunctivitis, vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, rash, etc....will be asked to meet online or call in sick. Students who have had contact with anyone with Covid-19 and/or symptoms will be asked to meet online. Neither Ozaukee Talent nor Angie Mack will be held responsible for anyone getting sick. By doing in-person lessons, you are assuming your own risk.
Please be aware that I am fully vaccinated. However, due to their age, many of the children who come to my studio have not been. Masks are not required outside. Masks are preferred indoors for anyone who is not fully vaccinated.
Front door and windows will be open in the music studio as weather permits to allow for a recycled air flow. We will continue to disinfect high surface areas in between each student. Parents and siblings are not allowed in the music studio or on the porch during the lesson. Students will be asked to use hand sanitizer when entering the premises.
The bathroom may not be used by student family members and only in an emergency situation for the student. Please try to use another restroom before arriving for the lesson. There is a public restroom available at the public library ½ block north of my home.
